Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data INFORMATIQUE MEDIA CENTER (IMC) collects on imc-tn.tn, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your data

INFORMATIQUE MEDIA CENTER, a distributor of low-voltage equipment in Tunisia, with stores in Nabeul and Dar Chaâbane. For any question about your data: contact@imc-tn.tn or 22 872 393.

The data we collect

• When you place an order: your name, phone number, delivery address, email address if you provide it, and the content of the order.
• When you create an account: your email address and your sign-in credentials.
• When you request an installation quote: your contact details, the project description and the photos you send. Their location data (GPS) is removed on receipt.
• When you leave a review: your rating and comment, published after moderation with your first name and the initial of your last name.
• When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address.
• When you browse: the pages viewed, where the visit came from (for example an ad), the type of device and, if you arrive from an ad, the ad click identifier.

Why we use it

• to prepare, deliver and track your order, and keep you informed of its progress by email, phone or WhatsApp;
• to answer your quote requests and questions;
• to issue invoices and meet our accounting obligations;
• to ask for your review after a delivery — a link in every message lets you stop receiving them;
• to measure site traffic and the effectiveness of our ads, in order to improve them.

We do not sell your data.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies that are essential for it to work (cart, sign-in, display preferences) and measurement tools:

• our own visit counter;
• Google Analytics, for traffic statistics;
• the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to know which ads bring visits and orders.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site remains usable without measurement cookies.

Who we share it with

• our sales, delivery and after-sales teams, through our management software;
• the courier or carrier in charge of your parcel, for your name, phone number and address;
• our technical providers: Google Cloud (hosting of the site and data) and OVH (sending emails);
• Meta and Google, to measure the effectiveness of our ads. When a contact detail (email, phone) is sent to them, it is sent in hashed form, i.e. irreversibly transformed.

Where it is stored

The site and its data are hosted by Google Cloud (Firebase), mainly in the European Union. Meta and Google may process measurement data in other countries, under their own privacy rules.

How long we keep it

Orders and invoices are kept for the period required by law for accounting records. Other data (quote requests, newsletter subscriptions, visit statistics) is kept as long as it is useful to our business relationship, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights and deleting your data

Under Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data, you can access your data, have it corrected, object to its use and request its deletion.

Simply write to contact@imc-tn.tn or call 22 872 393, giving your name and, if you have one, your order number. We reply within one month at the latest. Only the data the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, is retained.

You can also contact the Tunisian National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (INPDP).

Our advertising tools

Our internal tools connect to our own Meta accounts (Facebook, Instagram) to create our ads, manage our product catalog and track their results. They do not collect any personal data from Facebook or Instagram users.
